Welome to Woof Inn. Woof Inn is a very small and very private dog care service located on a neighborhood commercial corner in Evanston, Illinois. All of my dog clients are happy, socialized, well behaved "family" dogs. My rates are based on my 24-7 loveable attention. Daycare groups are small and provided on a "need group" basis. One of my clients when she calls says "It's time to book a visit to the doggy spa." Clients often remark when they pick up their dog that they didn't worry a bit!

I decided a few years ago to list Woof Inn on the internet. It seemed like an easy way to show dog photos, and have some fun with an on-line dog post card program featuring my photos of my dog buddies. Check it out. The photos are a nice sampling of my dog clients!

New for 2008! Dog Portraiture. Affordable Original Art Dog Portraits. We're culture hounds so check this link for details.

And look for us on Ebay. We occasionally auction off some fun stuff!

This life adventure started in 1996 after the death of three of my beloved companions, my husband Will, my old dalmatian dog Finney and my old Siamese cat Bolton.
I am by trade a fine artist with academic and museum collection credentials. Check out Who's Who in American Art, visit the Illinois State Museum, catch a talk at the University of Chicago Business School Gleacher Center auditorium, look at the stained glass windows in Old Wheeler Hall at SIU Carbondale, go down under to the National Museum of Art in Wellington New Zealand and you'll find me hanging there. If you're a fan of the Chicago Children's Museum, pop in and take a break on my painted bench.

A typical day here, is me working away either in my studio or at my computer with my visiting pack at my feet. Everywhere I go they are sure to follow. You would be amused at "our" conversations and critiques of art, poetry, music, the state of the nation, the stock market ( dogs have a nose for penny stocks) and what's the best dog treat (answer? Anything that is smelly).
We might hit the jogging paths along the lake for a break or stroll down to the park at the end of my street. Rumor has it the pooches and I have been seen siting with our latte, paper, and dog cookies out side at the Unicorn Cafe.
I also design and develop web sites and collect and sell domain names. I love to garden and yes... I do have three pets, a large rambunctious Oldenburg warmblood mare named Fauve and two Pembrooke Welsh Corgis, Atticus and Chutney.
All of this to say, really, that dogs just love me. It's always been a bit of a surprise to me, but yes they like me just fine. All those hounds. I am the Alpha of Woof Inn.
