Let your dog snooze with us.
Where is your next vacation?
Hop a plane to Paris. Set your
sails on Key West. The bunnies
in Aspen are waiting.
I found delightful lodging in Paris at The Hotel Windor Home in the 16th Arrondissement. The Corgis vacationed in Chicago with Paris the Labrador while I meet some charming Parisian Corgis Jaques and Francois (yes they speak French) and some dashing hounds on The Champs Elysees. You should have seen the bling on those dog collars!
If you like small inns check out the book Hotels de Charme a Paris 2007 (Paperback) by Tatiana Gamaleff (yes it's in French but worth it, get a French/English dictonary too) available from the travel section of our Amazon Woof Store.
Curb your Dachund sign on the Rue Vital, Paris
Do you have a recommendation? Have you been traveling with your dog and stayed in some posh spot? Oh, that reminds me, The Hotel Metro in downtown Milwaukee is a comfortable small dog (up to 25 lbs) friendly hotel, though it is a bit pricey. It's great for a romantic getaway that includes the paws. Know a dog friendly cabin retreat or a great dog beach? Have you been on any organized dog hiking trip? Let us know. We could post your suggestions. Our city of Evanston has a cool Dog Beach and a Pooch Park. Uncle Dan's Army-Navy Camping & Travel on Church street is dog friendly. Stop in with Fido and get outfitted for your next wilderness hike or city tour. Oceanique, a French-American seafood restaurant on Main Street will let you dine alfresco with your well mannered dog. Your dog might like to relocate? We're the best Bed and Biscuit in town with a great doggie day care program.
